Read the lookup log

Use this when you want to know which orders shoppers are asking about.

Steps

1. Confirm the lookup is on a page shoppers can find.
2. Place a test lookup with a real order number and the email or phone on that order.
3. Open the lookup log in the admin.
4. Find the test. You should see that the order was looked up.
5. Try a wrong email. The order should not open, and you can see the failed attempt in the log if it is recorded there.
6. Use the log to spot orders that generate repeat questions. Those are the ones worth a clearer tracking page, not a new carrier connection.
