Getting started with Easy POS

Easy POS is not on the Shopify App Store. Email [email protected] or book a call. There is no install button until XCO puts the app on your shop.

Setup​

  1. Open Staff Management in the admin. Add the person who will sell. The app fills in a 4-digit PIN. Give that PIN only to them. On the Free tier configured in the app, adding a person is refused. Pro ($9.99) and Advanced ($24.99) allow it. Those amounts are not an App Store charge.
  2. Open POS Configuration. Set POS Name. That name is the pickup desk on the register. The default is Pickup Desk. Cash is already the payment method.
  3. Under Collection Filter, choose the collections staff should see, or leave the list empty to show every collection. Turn on Hide empty collections if you do not want collections with no products. Save.
  4. In the theme editor, add the Easy POS section to the page staff will open, then publish the theme.
  5. Open that page in the browser on the phone, tablet, or laptop at the counter. Enter the PIN and tap Login.
  6. Scroll to a collection, add one product, take cash, and read the order number on the screen. Open that order in Shopify admin and confirm it is paid.

After setup​

The sale happens on the storefront page, not inside the embedded admin. If the page is blank, the Easy POS section is missing from the published theme.

If you get stuck, email [email protected] with the shop domain, the PIN result (accepted or refused), and whether an order number appeared. Do not send the PIN itself.
