Easy POS changelog

This app is still in the studio and is not on the Shopify App Store. These notes describe the build in progress.

These notes cover changes that matter when you run the app. A new entry is added at the top when something is ready.

17 August 2026 — Adding staff follows the plan in the app​

  • The Free tier configured in the app cannot add a new staff member.
  • Pro and Advanced, also only in the app config, can. They are not an App Store listing.
  • Someone already on the list can still be edited or deactivated.

31 December 2025 — The Shopify order number on the sale​

  • After a cash sale, the register shows the Shopify order number.
  • Two staff members in the same shop cannot share a PIN.

30 December 2025 — A catalog you can scroll​

  • Staff scroll collections and products. The register does not load the whole catalog at once.
  • Choose which collections appear, hide empty ones, and name the pickup desk.

26 December 2025 — A register in the browser​

  • Staff sign in with a PIN, build a cart from your catalog, and take cash.
  • The sale is created as a Shopify order.
  • You can adjust the look of the register.
