Clubify FAQ

Is Clubify on the Shopify App Store?

No. It is in the studio and is not listed. Email [email protected] or book a call.

Is this Prizify?

No. Prizify is the points program on the App Store. Clubify sells paid membership tiers.

Are Free, $14.99, and $39.99 what the App Store would charge?

No. Those are the plans configured in the app: Free at $0, Pro at $14.99 a month, and Advanced at $39.99 a month. They are not an App Store listing. Every plan has the same features. The difference is how many members are counted: 50, 1,000, or unlimited.

Does the member limit block a customer from subscribing?

No. The limit is enforced only when you grant a membership by hand. A storefront subscriber is not turned away. They do count toward the number, whether they subscribed or you granted them.

How is the customer billed for a tier?

Through Shopify, on the subscription for that tier. You set a monthly price and, if you want one, an annual price. Clubify does not take the card. A granted membership does not create a subscription.

How does the member discount work?

You type a percentage on the plan, then turn the member discount on in setup. Signed-in members with an active or trial membership get that percentage at checkout. There is no code. Zero means no money off.

Do priority shipping, VIP support, and early access happen automatically?

No. Those benefits are shown on the member page and at checkout, and stored on the membership. They do not change shipping rates, support routing, or which products are visible. To decide which products a tier can open, use Exclusive Member Content on the plan.

Which products can a tier open?

On the plan, add a restriction rule and browse the products or collections. For a wider set, match a product tag, vendor, product type, or collection, and add the Clubify Product Gate block to the product template. The plan must be active, and the storefront embed must be on. Steps are in the guide.

What does the member see on their page?

On Clubify Membership Portal in the customer account: tier, status, renewal or trial end, benefits, and a way to cancel. Cancel keeps the membership until the end of the current billing period.

What do I see on a member's page?

Tier, status, renewal, a history of changes, recent orders placed as a member, and the benefits. You can cancel the membership from that page.

Does it edit my theme code?

No. You add the Membership Plans block, and the Clubify Product Gate block only if a rule matches by tag, vendor, type, or collection. You enable the Clubify Control embed. Appearance is set under Customize in the app, not in the theme. Remove the blocks when you do not want them.

Where are the setup steps?

Getting started and the guide.

I typed a page address and the product is still public.

Choose the products and collections on the tier. A typed page address is not the gate.

Where do I see a member's orders?

On the member page, with the orders tied to that plan.

A signed-out shopper can still open the product.

The product has to be chosen on the tier. A page address typed by hand is not the gate.

The member page is empty.

The test customer has to buy the membership product for that tier. Another product does not attach them to the plan.

The card preview does not match the member page.

Save the tier, then open the member page as a customer who bought that membership product.

Benefits are missing on the plan.

Add them on the plan. The card look and the benefit list are separate.
