Clubify changelog

This app is still in the studio and is not on the Shopify App Store. These notes are merchant-visible changes from the app history, not a listing release.

These notes cover changes that matter when you run the app. A new entry is added at the top when something is ready.

7 September 2026 — Benefits on the plan, including the discount​

  • Every benefit on a plan has its own field, including the member discount percentage checkout uses.
  • The percentage saved on the plan is the one members get. Leave it at 0 for access with no money off.

6 September 2026 — What the member limit counts​

  • The public page says Clubify is not on the Shopify App Store.
  • The allowance counts every membership. It only stops you when you grant a membership by hand. A customer who subscribes on the storefront is not turned away.

4 September 2026 — The membership page and product rules​

  • The membership page in the customer account shows an active membership, instead of always saying there is none.
  • Setup shows each plan's discount percentage before you turn the member discount on.
  • If a product rule needs the Clubify Product Gate block, the plan says so.
  • When you pick products for a rule, you pick products, not variants.

2 September 2026 — Cancel from the account​

  • A member can cancel their own membership from the customer account page. It stays in place until the end of the current billing period.
  • The Clubify plan you choose, Free, Pro, or Advanced, applies before you leave that screen.

18 August 2026 — A plan that raises the member limit​

  • When a hand grant would pass the allowance, the upgrade opens the plan that raises it.

17 August 2026 — Finding plans, and the membership card​

  • The notice that you are at the member limit links to Clubify's plans.
  • Text on the membership card stays readable on the accent color, and the card footer has more room.

16 August 2026 — Dates in the shop's time​

  • Dates in Clubify use the shop's timezone.

15 August 2026 — Who a product rule matches​

  • A product rule can match a tag, a vendor, a product type, or a collection. That needs the Clubify Product Gate block on the product template.
  • Granting a membership by hand stops when the shop is at its member allowance.
  • Clubify's own plans are Free, Pro at $14.99 a month, and Advanced at $39.99 a month. They are configured in the app. They are not an App Store listing.

14 August 2026 — Members, benefits, and which products a tier opens​

  • A member's page is about that customer: their history, and the orders they placed as a member.
  • Each plan lists its benefits. Saving a benefit updates members already on that plan.
  • Pick the products and collections a tier can open.
  • Open a plan's orders from the plan list.
  • The customer tag and the order tag you set are applied when someone joins.
  • The home page shows MRR from active members, in the shop's currency.
  • A renewal date moves forward by a month or a year, matching how that member pays.
  • The name in the admin is Clubify.
  • Setup warns you when a step you already finished no longer holds.

9 June 2026 — How the membership looks​

  • Preview the membership card and change its colors, layout, and wording.
  • A plan can have a monthly price and an annual price.

2 June 2026 — The plan on the product​

  • On a product in the Shopify admin, see the membership plan it belongs to, or start a plan from that product.

19 May 2026 — What a tier can lock​

  • A plan can restrict products, collections, the add-to-cart button, blogs, or pages to active members.

14 May 2026 — A tier and its discount​

  • Create a tier, link it to a product, and set the discount members receive.

11 May 2026 — Membership plans​

  • Create, edit, and remove membership plans.

6 May 2026 — Setup​

  • Setup walks through plans, the member discount, the storefront, the plans block, the card, and member emails.

1 May 2026 — Checkout​

  • Add a checkout block that shows a member their perks, or invites someone who is not a member to join.
