Settings & Configuration

Fine-tune Claimify to match your business processes by managing statuses, resolutions, and your subscription.

Statuses Management

Claimify uses statuses to track the journey of a claim. Every status belongs to a Base Type, which determines how the app handles automation, reporting, and customer notifications.

Default Statuses

These are available out-of-the-box and cannot be deleted:

  • PENDING (Type: Processing): The initial state for all new claims.
  • PROCESSING (Type: Processing): Indicates a team member is actively working on the claim.
  • APPROVED (Type: Resolve): The claim has been honored.
  • REJECTED (Type: Reject): The claim has been denied.

Custom Statuses

Create statuses that fit your specific business flow (e.g., "Awaiting Inventory", "Technical Review", "Investigation"). When creating a custom status, you must map it to one of the following Base Types:

  • Processing: The claim is still active and visible in your primary inbox.
  • Resolve: The claim is considered "Done" and successful.
  • Reject: The claim is considered "Done" and denied.

Resolutions Management

Resolutions define how you fixed the customer's problem.

Default Resolutions

  • Refund: Returning money to the original payment method.
  • Reorder: Creating a replacement order in Shopify.
  • Other: A catch-all for miscellaneous resolutions (e.g., in-person repair).

Custom Resolutions

Add resolutions that match your store's specific offerings:

  • Examples: "Store Credit", "Gift Card", "Discount Code", "Product Exchange", "Charity Donation".
  • Mapping: Just like statuses, custom resolutions are mapped to a base type (Refund, Reorder, or Other) for analytical grouping.

Billing & Plans

Claimify offers several plans tailored to different store sizes:

  • Free: Perfect for new stores getting their first claims.
  • Basic: Adds more claim forms and basic automations.
  • Plus: Unlocks advanced features like Analytics, Custom Statuses/Resolutions, and fully customizable emails.
  • Enterprise: Custom limits and priority support for high-volume stores.

In the Billing tab, you can:

  • See your current plan.
  • Upgrade or downgrade your subscription.
  • View feature limits (e.g., "3 of 10 Custom Statuses used").

App Status

Ensure Claimify is correctly installed and integrated with your Shopify store. The settings page will alert you if there are connection issues or if the app needs to be re-authenticated.
