Choose files and read the result
Syncto is not on the Shopify App Store. Use it only on stores where XCO has already installed it. The work is three screens: Link Stores, Sync Themes Files, and History. Nothing is copied until the other store has approved the link.
What a copy includes
Theme files only: the sections, snippets, blocks, templates, and other groups you tick. It does not copy products, collections, pages, customers, or orders.
You are not cloning the whole theme. The whole-theme switch is not offered. Tick files, or select a group.
Choices that change the copy
On Select Files to Sync:
- Leave Auto-detect and add missing dependencies on when a section calls a snippet or a block. Turn it off only when you want that file alone.
- Leave Exclude config files on when the other shop should keep its own theme settings. That option hides JSON files. Turn it off only to copy those settings on purpose.
- Add an exclude pattern when a name should stay behind, for example files whose names start with
cart. - Turn on Skip on failure when you would rather finish the rest of the files than stop at the first group that fails.
On Select Target Store & Theme, pick the theme that should receive the files. The live theme is marked as the main theme. Choosing it asks you to type CONFIRM, because the published storefront changes and Syncto cannot undo the write. Use a theme that is not live, preview it, and publish it in Shopify yourself.
How to read history
Open History, then Sync History.

Each row shows the source shop and theme, the target shop and theme, the file count, and the time in the shop's timezone. Open the file list when you need the names.
Link activity is separate. It records linked, revoked, and reconnected. A revoked link stops further copies. Reconnect it from Link Stores before you try again.
Same store, two themes
Syncto can also copy between two themes in the same shop, without a link, and that screen can create a new theme first. It is not one of the three menu items. Ask XCO if you need it and do not see it. Choosing the live theme still asks you to confirm, and there is still no undo.
When the result looks wrong, use troubleshooting before you ask for the app to be installed again.
