Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from store owners about Workify.

Getting Started

How many jobs can I post?

It depends on your plan:

  • Free Plan (Basic): 1 published job at a time
  • Pro Plan: Unlimited job postings

You can have unlimited draft jobs on any plan.

Do I need technical skills to set up Workify?

Not at all! Workify is designed for store owners with no coding experience. If you can use Shopify, you can use Workify.

Will it work with my theme?

Yes! Workify works with most Shopify themes, including Dawn (default theme), all Shopify 2.0 themes, and most third-party themes.

Jobs & Applications

Where do my job listings appear?

Your jobs appear on your store's jobs page at:

https://yourstore.myshopify.com/apps/workify

You can also add a jobs section to any page using the theme editor.

Can applicants apply on mobile?

Yes! The application form works on all devices — phones, tablets, and computers. The form is responsive and easy to use on any screen size.

Is there a limit on applications?

No! You can receive unlimited applications on both the Free and Pro plans.

Where are resumes stored?

Resumes are stored securely in your Shopify files. You can view them anytime from the application details, click to open in a new tab, or download if needed.

What happens to applications if I delete a job?

Important: Applications will also be deleted if you delete the job.

If you want to keep applications but close the position, Archive the job instead of deleting it. Archived jobs keep all their applications and you can reopen them later.

Technical Questions

Does Workify slow down my store?

No. Workify only loads on the jobs pages, not your entire store. There's no impact on your homepage or product pages load times.

Why isn't my jobs page showing?

Make sure:

  1. ✅ The app embed is enabled in your theme
  2. ✅ You have at least one published job
  3. ✅ You have saved your theme changes

See Troubleshooting for detailed steps.
