Check a balance during checkout

Use this when shoppers should confirm a gift card before they pay. Checkout balance checking is for Shopify Plus stores.

Steps

1. Turn on the balance checker.
2. Write the message for a code that cannot be checked.
3. On a Plus store, turn on the checkout checker if that plan includes it.
4. Issue a test gift card.
5. Go through checkout and enter that code. The balance should match Shopify.
6. Enter a bad code and read your message.
7. Leave discount codes and store credit off unless you meant to turn them on.
