Let shoppers check a gift card

Use this when customers should see a balance on your store instead of emailing you the code.

Steps

1. Install the app and open it in Shopify admin.
2. Turn on the balance checker for the storefront.
3. Write the message shoppers see when a code cannot be checked. Say what they should do next, such as contact you.
4. Add the checker to a page shoppers can find, such as a gift card page or the footer.
5. Buy or issue a test gift card, open the page in a private window, and enter that code.
6. Confirm the balance matches Shopify. Then enter a bad code and read your message.

Discounts and store credit

Those stay off until you turn them on. Leave them off if you only want gift card balances.
