Get told when a schedule runs

Use this when a launch happens outside working hours and you want proof it went live.

Steps​

  1. Open Integrations in the app.
  2. Connect Slack or WhatsApp, or add a webhook URL.
  3. Choose the events to send. Start with theme.published and schedule.failed.
  4. Create a test schedule a few minutes ahead on an unpublished copy of your theme, or a small content change.
  5. Wait for it to run and check that the message arrived.

With Shopify Flow instead​

  1. In Shopify Flow, create a workflow that starts with Scheduled Theme Published.
  2. Add the step you want, for example an email to the team or a tag on a record.
  3. Turn the workflow on.

Flow also has a ready-made template for a notification after a scheduled publish.
