Getting Started
Learn how to install and set up Maestro Theme Scheduler for your Shopify store.
Installation
From Shopify App Store
- Visit the Maestro Theme Scheduler page on the Shopify App Store
- Click "Add app" or "Get"
- Review and approve the required permissions
- Complete the installation process
Required Permissions
Maestro Theme Scheduler requires the following permissions:
- Read and write themes: To schedule section and block visibility
- Read theme settings: To access current theme configuration
Initial Setup
1. Access the App
After installation, you can access Maestro Theme Scheduler from:
- Your Shopify admin dashboard
- The Apps section in your admin panel
2. Configure Settings
Navigate to the app settings and configure:
- Default timezone: Set your store's timezone
- Notification preferences: Choose when to receive notifications
- Default visibility: Set default section/block states
3. Create Your First Schedule
- Click "Create Schedule" or "New Schedule"
- Select the section or block you want to schedule
- Set the start date and time
- Set the end date and time (optional)
- Choose visibility state (show/hide)
- Save the schedule
Basic Usage
Scheduling a Section
To schedule when a section appears:
- Go to "Schedules" in the app
- Click "New Schedule"
- Select "Section" as the type
- Choose the section from the dropdown
- Set start and end times
- Choose "Show" as the action
- Save
Scheduling a Block
To schedule a block within a section:
- Create a new schedule
- Select "Block" as the type
- Choose the section containing the block
- Select the specific block
- Set timing and visibility
- Save
