Using AI Blogs
AI Blogs is a studio app. It is not on the App Store. You work in the Shopify admin: campaigns, drafts, and the blog you publish to.
A campaign is one set of products, one brief, and a schedule. Sending it creates drafts. You publish each draft yourself.
Pick products or a tag
On a new or existing campaign, Select Products opens Shopify's product picker. Search, select, and replace the list if you change your mind. In edit, the product list is locked, so start a new campaign if the set of products should change.
Tags already on those products are offered when you fill SEO Keywords and Target Audience. Pick one of those tags, or type your own. That steers the draft. It does not add extra products.
The brief that matters most:
- Writing Tone — professional, casual, friendly, or authoritative
- Target Word Count — 100 to 2,000
- Include Product Images — use the product's images in the article
- Select Blog — where a published article is created
You can add more context, such as industry, price point, and what the brand cares about. Empty fields are simply left out of the brief.
Set how often the campaign runs
Campaign Scheduling asks for a start date and time, and the timezone for that time.
Repeat Interval appears when more than one product is selected:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Every two weeks
- Monthly
- Quarterly
The schedule is when drafts should be produced. Published posts still wait for your review.
Generate drafts
Create Campaign saves it. Send on the campaign list starts a run.
Watch Generated Articles and the campaign history. Each product gets its own row. If one product fails, the others can still come back, and the history shows which one failed.
A finished draft has a title, a body, a summary, tags, and an image when you included product images. Its status is Generated until you publish.
Review before you publish
Open View Generated Content and read the whole draft. Compare it with the product. If the voice is wrong, change the tone, keywords, or audience on the campaign and send again, or fix the product text in Shopify and run that product again.
Press Publish on the article you accept. That creates the post on the blog you selected, with the summary and tags filled in.
Then use Edit article if you want to reword it in Shopify's article editor, and View Article to open the post. Read it on the storefront before you treat the job as done.
There is no step that puts an unread draft on the blog for you.
See the monthly allowance
The allowance is counted in generated articles, and it resets at the start of each month.
| Plan | Price | Articles a month |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 2 |
| Pro | $19.99 | 20 |
| Advanced | $49.99 | 100 |
These prices are not an App Store listing.
When the month is used up, AI Campaigns shows Monthly article limit reached, with the plan's number and how many articles have been generated. Campaigns keep their schedules, and no new drafts are produced until the allowance resets or the plan changes. View plans opens the plan that raises the allowance.
Page through long lists of articles, campaigns, and history when a run covers more than one screen.
When a result looks wrong, use troubleshooting before you ask for the app to be installed again.
