Schedule a weekend sale

Use this when a price, a compare-at price, or a published state should change at a set time and change back later.

Before you start​

  • The products already exist in Shopify.
  • You know the store timezone. Schedules follow that clock.
  • You are on a plan that allows the change you want to make.

Steps​

  1. In Product Scheduler, create a schedule and give it a name you will recognize on Monday, such as "Weekend sale".
  2. Choose the products. A collection, a tag, or a hand-picked list all work. Open the list and confirm a product you care about is included.
  3. Set the price and the compare-at price you want during the sale. If the product should also be published or unpublished, set that in the same schedule.
  4. Set the start and the end. The end is a second change, not a hope that you will remember.
  5. Read the summary. It should name the products and the fields that will change.
  6. Save. On the schedule list, filter to upcoming items and confirm this one is there.
  7. After the start time, open one product in Shopify admin and check the price. After the end time, check that it returned.

If nothing changed​

  • The schedule is archived or still a draft.
  • The product was not in the selection.
  • The store timezone is not the clock you used when you picked the hour.
