Installation Process

From Shopify App Store

  1. Visit the XCO Agency apps page
  2. Click on the app you want to install
  3. Click "Add app" or "Get" button
  4. Review and approve the app permissions
  5. Follow the in-app setup wizard

App Permissions

Our apps require specific permissions to function properly:

  • Read/Write Products: For product scheduling and management
  • Read/Write Themes: For theme section scheduling
  • Read Collections: For collection management
  • Read Orders: For analytics and reporting (where applicable)

All permissions are clearly explained during installation.

First Steps After Installation

1. Review App Settings

Navigate to the app's settings page and review available options:

  • Set up notifications
  • Customize appearance (if applicable)

2. Create Your First Schedule

Most of our apps involve scheduling. Create your first schedule:

  • Choose what to schedule (product, section, collection, etc.)
  • Set the date and time
  • Configure the changes you want to make
  • Save and activate

Before scheduling important changes:

  • Test with a draft or test product
  • Verify the schedule works as expected
  • Check the preview (if available)
